Thanks for joining! 'Camp Sukhumvit' Day two action

Day 2 final of 'Camp Sukhuvmit' started off with SNAG in the day-time when the weather was supposed to be a bit cooler. It was a challenge but Pro James kept it going with a chipping game for prize. Coach George was prepared with a cooler box full of ice which indeed came in handy!

Check out the Chipping game in action. Coach George is a bit out of frame, but he is keeping track of score. Remember in golf, the lower the score the better. Pro James along side the student (Andy) checking out his technique and swing.

What's nice about SNAG is that you can set it up anywhere. Creativity plays an important part in getting the students to be actively engaged. I found it interesting how the SNAG equipment can also be used as obstacle course for team relays! Go Team Go!

Lunch was served from 11:45 ~ 12:45

How happy is our man Peter finally sitting down for a gigantic set menu lunch. The menu comprised of, pizza, calamari, pasta carbonara, fried rice, caesar salad with chicken, chicken wings, BLT with egg sandwiches, french fries, and to top it all off vanilla ice cream with brownie and whip cream on the side. We were so stuffed with so much left over!

Hitting the pool again for the second time. Today we played Tag and sharks and minnows.  It was a blast!!

In the afternoon came TENNIS! Yes Coach George pumped it up and kept the group going.
We played doubles champion challenger starting from the coaches drop feed. Challenger on one side versus the champions on the other. Featured in this photo Koki and his partner Bobby hitting a backhand across the net. The game was intense!

Air Kla moving up towards the net for an anticipated short ball!!

Rina partnered up with Tina. Great follow through Rina looking like a tennis star. Choke down just a bit on the grip :)

And finally, as parents arrived around 15:30 Camp Sukhumvit slowly winded down with an awards ceremony and certificate to each participant!

Our final group photo with everyone holding there certificates! We were four kids shorts from the single day campers from yesterday who were fabulous as well (Simone, Alaine, Justin, and Keely). We'd like to thank once again, all staff, pros, parents, students, and the Marriott for making our first 'Camp Sukhumvit' such a great story!

"Get ready for next Camp Sukhumvit!!"

Back into the swing of things in 2014! My goal is to definitely learn more Thai this year, play more tennis, get into great shape, and as always inspire those who want to become better tennis players. Have a great start everyone to your new year and keep your goals alive and in-line.
